A voice no longer here Absence and closeness to God allow a reading of a message from beyond death. The voice cannot speak, but tango makes it present. Its childlike tenderness preserves the vulnerability of someone asking the other person to keep living.
Piolín and esquinzao Piolín is a thin cord: life becomes a thread that eventually snaps. Esquinzao retains a popular form of esquinzado, linked to cutting or tearing; here it gives pain a bodily form. Finita can suggest both thinness and a limited life.
Pulling together Cinchar means to pull forcefully; the cart turns friendship into shared effort. Advice is not offered from a distance: the voice wants to stand beside the other person. Smallness and nakedness make this help an affectionate gesture, without power or display.
Goodness after resentment The addressee caused tears and insults, but the answer is friendship. Candor names the trust and openness the voice asks us to preserve toward love. The claim about goodness expresses a poetic conviction; it does not guarantee that good people never suffer.
